This page says what happens to your photos, your email address, and your order.

snootdot.com is run by ABTJL Holdings, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Snootdot. "We" on this page means that company. A person reads hello@snootdot.com.

what we do with your photos

Your photos are used to make your portrait and nothing else.

Portraits are made by software from the photos you send. The photos go to the company that runs that software, and nothing else about you goes with them.

We do not use your photos to train anything, we do not sell them, and we do not share them for marketing.

who your information goes to

Six companies, each doing one job:

• OpenRouter, and through it Google, which make the portrait from your photos
• Printify, and the print partner it routes your size to, which print the canvas and ship it. They get your name, your address, and the finished print file, not your original photos
• Shopify, which takes the payment. Your card details go straight to them and we never see them
• Resend, which sends the emails about your order
• Judge.me, which collects and shows product reviews. It gets your name, email and the order you review
• Meta, which measures which ads bring visits and orders

how long we keep things

• Your photos, and the clean portrait that is never shown in your browser: 90 days after you stop, if you do not order. 12 months after delivery, if you do
• The watermarked previews you see on screen: 90 days
• The print render and the print file: 12 months after delivery
• Your email address, your style picks, the details you typed, the styles and products you asked us to make, and the record of each portrait: until you ask us to delete them
• Order and payment records: 7 years, because tax records have to be kept

getting a copy, or getting it deleted

Write to hello@snootdot.com and say which one you want. We answer within 30 days.

Deleting your photos does not delete the order and payment records, which we have to keep for tax.

email

Emails about your order are sent because you ordered, and they carry on until the order is done.

An email left with a style or product request is used only to tell you when it launches, and only if you asked us to.

Marketing email is a separate thing. You opt in to it, every message has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop the emails about your order.

cookies

One cookie remembers your preview session, so the portraits you made are still there when you come back. Meta's pixel is on the site to measure ads.

where we sell

The United States only.

children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has sent us something, write to hello@snootdot.com and we will delete it.
